- What are Essential Questions and what purpose do they serve?
- What makes a strong Essential Question?
- How might we unpack standards as a strategy for devising learning outcomes, understandings, and/or essential questions?

- To identify and unpack standards for the unit and derive Essential Questions and Enduring Understandings
- To devise and refine our Essential Questions.
